The System

What is SmartAC VTU?

The SmartAC Vehicle Training Unit is an innovative educational hybrid system designed to strengthen technical understanding, diagnostic ability and hands-on competency. The system combines a physical AC training unit with a web-based digital platform.

The physical unit enables real practice in operation, servicing and maintenance, while the digital platform mirrors the system using interactive 3D models and augmented reality (AR). A key feature is interactive fault simulation, where trainees can simulate component faults virtually.

The system visualizes refrigerant flow and overall behaviour while guiding diagnostic checks and corrective actions. Artificial intelligence (AI) enhances learning through real-time guidance, adaptive interaction, automated tools, chatbot tutoring and attendance tracking.

A structured digital platform accessible anytime, anywhere. Educators can manage classes, track attendance, assign tasks and monitor student progress in real-time.

Interactive 3D Model

3D visualization of components and refrigerant system flows to enhance conceptual understanding. Students explore each part interactively before touching the physical unit.

Augmented Reality (AR)

Overlay digital information onto real physical components using a mobile device. Students see labels, temperatures, pressures and flow indicators directly on the unit.

Fault Simulation

Realistic fault scenarios allow students to safely practice diagnosis and corrective action without any risk to equipment or personnel. Faults can be triggered virtually or physically.

An AI-powered learning companion that converts uploaded notes, PDFs and images into smart summaries, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps and a personalized study planner.
